France so far…

We’re staying in a tiny little apartment in Montmarte. It has a little spiral staircase going down to the lower level, and a great big window that opens up over a street. There are lots of tourists and little bistros everywhere. The streets are all coble-stoned , and overall, it looks like you could be back in France 100 years ago, if not for the cars.
Today me and dad went to the Montmarte museum, and saw lots of original iconic pieces of art… wish I could have photographed some of them! I can’t remember their names…
Today and yesterday were sort of low key, because were trying to just get our bearings… also, we had to take my mom to the hospital today because her ankles were swollen and we worried she might have gotten a blood clot on the plane, but everything was all right.
